    Introducing the MBZIRC Energy Industry Edition and its ambition to advance autonomous robotics for complex industrial environments.

    Call for participation

    Nov’26 - Q1 2027

    Teams will be invited to propose unified robotic systems for inspection, operation and maintenance. Participation details can be submitted once the call opens on 16 November 2026.

  3. 2027

    Semi-Finals

    Q3 2027

    Selected teams will develop and demonstrate their solutions. Testing requirements and phase milestones will be announced.

  4. 2027

    Finals

    Q4’27 - Q2 2028

    Finalist teams will demonstrate their robotic systems in an ADNOC oil and gas facility in Abu Dhabi. Evaluation details will be confirmed.

  5. 2028

    Announcement of Winners

    Q2 2028

    The winning teams will be announced following the final evaluations, celebrating advances in industrial robotics and autonomy.
